It has been announced that the long-awaited third season of the TV anime "MF GHOST" (original work: Shuichi Shigeno) will begin broadcasting in January 2026!
Additionally, the latest teaser visual and broadcast date were previewed exclusively to fans attending the "Initial D 30th Anniversary 2days" event held at Fuji Speedway the other day, and the distribution of approximately 2,000 postcards was immediately sold out, making it an event that gave a sense of the high level of passion fans have for the film.
This work is a film adaptation of the popular car racing manga that was serialized in "Young Magazine" (Kodansha) from 2017 to February 2025, and has sold over 7 million copies in total. Set in the near-future world of "Initial D" which also ran in "Young Magazine" from 1995 to 2013 and depicted the "legend of the fastest car on public roads," the series depicts car race battles on real public roads. In the second season, Kanata struggles in the final of MFG Round 3, "The Peninsula Manazuru," after losing second gear. However, he decides, "This race isn't over until I overtake all the cars that have passed me so far," and begins his quest for revenge!
